About Studio Laxmi

Behind Every Frame,
a Storyteller

My Story

Twelve Years of Chasing Light

I found photography the way most people find the things that save them — by accident. A borrowed camera, a morning at Pashupatinath, and the sudden understanding that a fraction of a second could hold an entire life.

Twelve years later, Studio Laxmi is a seven-person team of photographers, filmmakers and editors, but the promise hasn't changed: we photograph what is true. The trembling hand during sindoor. The father who turns away so no one sees him cry. The grandmother laughing at a joke no one else heard.

We've carried cameras across fourteen countries, up to 5,500 metres, through monsoons and minus-twelve mornings. But the most important distance is always the same — the last few feet between the lens and something real.

Mission

To preserve the truest moments of people's lives with honesty, artistry and craft that outlives trends.

Vision

A world where every family's story is kept beautifully — where photographs become heirlooms, not files forgotten in a phone.

Honesty in Every Frame

Real laughter over stiff poses. I photograph what is true, and truth photographs beautifully.

An Editorial Eye

Trained in fashion and fine-art, I bring magazine-level composition to real moments.

Timeless Over Trendy

Filters date, stories don't. My grading is built to look right in fifty years.

Calm Under Pressure

Weddings run late, weather changes. Twelve years of experience keeps your day serene.

The Process

Working Together

01

Conversation

We meet over coffee — in the studio or on a call — and I listen to your story, your plans and the moments that matter most to you.

02

Vision

Together we shape a creative direction: locations, light, mood boards and a timeline built around how the day naturally unfolds.

03

The Shoot

On the day I work quietly and unobtrusively, directing only when needed, so every frame feels honest and unposed.

04

The Craft

Every image is hand-edited with a signature fine-art grade. No presets applied blindly — each frame is finished individually.

05

Delivery

Your story arrives as a private online gallery, a cinematic film, and heirloom prints designed to outlive us both.

Your story is already happening.
Let's not miss it.

Dates for the coming season are limited — most weddings book six months ahead.
